The blue-green alga AFA (Aphanizomenon flos aquae) is a unique freshwater algae species that grows in the wild and only grows in Lake Klamath, Oregon (USA). In many aspects it differs from other types of algae and because of its properties is highly valued in natural care and as a dietary supplement.
