Black Salt, also known as Kala Namak and Sanchal is a special sort of mineral rich salt harvested in Pakistan and India. Despite its name black salt has a dusky pink colour. It has a pronounced aroma with sulfurous flavour. Mostly used in traditional Indian dishes.
Black salt is best used as an ingredient in recipes or in combination with other herbs and spices as a seasoning blend rather than as a table salt or a finishing salt.
100% black salt / kala namak
May contain traces of gluten, sesame, peanuts and other nuts.
