Buckwheat grits are grounded buckwheat groats. Naturally gluten free. Nutrient dense and rich in carbohydrates, with addition of lysine, essential amino acid that is deficient in other grains. Grits can be used to make a quick cooking, healthy breakfast meal.
Add to boiling milk or water, constantly stirring and cook for about 2-3 minutes. if desired, add some sweetness to give them the perfect amount of flavour.
Can be used to make croquettes and sponge cakes and all sorts of breakfast meals with added nuts and dried or fresh fruits.
