Erythritol is a sugar alcohol, used as a food additive and sugar substitute which is made by corn sugar fermentation. It breaks down completely in a small intestine, therefore easily digestible.
It is found in small amounts in nature, especially in fruits, vegetables and food prepared by fermentation for example cheese, wine, soy sauce.
Erythritol has 60 to 80% of the sweetness of sugar, contains almost no calories, doesn't raise blood sugar or insulin levels.
Ideal for preparing cakes and treats with less calories. Can not be used in bread with yeast and can not be caramelised.
Gram per kilogram of adult person is recommended daily intake.
Recommended daily dosage should not be exceeded.
