Mung bean or green soy is probably the most popular sprout. These sprouts have always been widespread in Asia and for some years now throughout the West. Particularly crunchy and rich in water, ideal for Asian cuisine and many other recipes from other cultures. They are excellent served on their own as a healthy snack.
Soak in water for minimum 8 hours. Rinse them and arrange on the appropriate surface like sprouter tray or sprouting jar allowing seed to increase their volume at least 4 times. Germination takes between 3 to 4 days after wihich they can be consumed immediately or stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
