OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS - A balanced intestinal tract
Not all useful bacteria can simply be „ingested“ as they are – many intestinal symbionts are anaerobic, i.e. they do not tolerate any oxygen and therefore cannot survive outside the intestine. Nevertheless, one can get them to multiply very easily by providing them with their „favourite foods“ in the form of specifically selected fibre!
For whom is OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS suitable?
An imbalance of specific intestinal bacteria can lead to the increased occurrence of inflammations in the intestine, the so-called „silent inflammations“. The microorganisms Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitziicounteract this development: Akkermansia muciniphila is responsible for the production of highly viscous mucous and contributes with this mucus layer to the reinforcement of the intestinal barrier, so that foreign microorganisms as well as harmful substances cannot overcome the intestinal mucosa and get into the bloodstream. Faecalibakterium prausnitzii, on the other hand, is able to produce special fatty acids, among others butyric acid (= butyrate), which possesses anti-inflammatory properties, but primarily also provides the intestinal mucosa with energy and thus strengthens the „tight junctions“. These are the connection points (membrane proteins) between the cells of the intestinal mucosa that ensure that important nutrients are selected and separated from harmful substances.
Inflammations in the intestine occur frequently in people who are overweight, since inflammatory cytokines are formed by special fat cells in the abdominal region that can harm the entire organism.
How does OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS work?
Years of scientific investigation have shown which nutrients must be supplied to our intestine in order for them to be able to optimally carry out their natural functions.
OMNi-LOGiC® PLUS contains a special combination of high-quality vitamins, minerals and trace elements as well as valuable short-chained carbohydrates, so-called fructooligosaccharides (FOS) and galactooligosaccharides (GOS), which serve as food for specific bacteria:
• The contained vitamin B2 preserves the normal mucous membrane function and contributes to protecting the cells from oxidative stress. Calcium plays an important role in the normal functioning of the digestive enzymes, and vitamin D & zinc contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
• Fructooligosaccharides and galactooligosaccharides (FOS/GOS) are special carbohydrates that serve as food for certain bacteria. They stimulate the proliferation of the specific bacteria Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii as well as the conversion of nutrition into short-chained fatty acids (such as butyrate.
• In the context of an energy-balanced diet, glucomannan has demonstrably contributed to weight loss.
Stir 5 g (5 g = 1 level measuring spoon) in 0.2 l water/juice etc. 3 x daily and drink at once (activation time is not necessary). The positive effect of glucomannan is established at a daily consumption of 3 g in three portions of 1 g each along with 1-2 glasses of water before meals.

If you suffer from fructose intolerance, you should prolong the activation time to at least 30 minutes. During this time the bacteria metabolise the entire fructooligosaccharides. Therefore no fructose gets into the intestine.
