Rye bran is the surface layer of rye grain which is produced as a byproduct of milling. Bran is less known than flakes, but equally, if not more nutritious. Rye bran stands out for its high fibre content (both soluble and insoluble) which is even higher than in flakes and grains.
Suggested use:
Can be used in the preparation of various dishes. May be used in the preparation of pancakes, buns, as an addition to salads and other cereals. You can also sprinkle rye bran on smoothies, yoghurt and hot cereals.
