Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is a species of asparagus common throughout India and the Himalayas. It grows 1–2 m tall and prefers to take root in gravelly, rocky soils high up in plains, at 1,300–1,400 m altitude.
In Ayurvedic medicine Shatavari powder is exceptional food supplement, mostly consumed by women of all ages. Traditionally used for women's health, and may help to balance hormones and ease cramping. Powder is obtained from dried and ground Shatavari root.

Suggested use:
Recommended daily intake is 3 to 10 grams (1/2 do 2 teaspoons). Mix in water, smoothie, shake, yoghurt, juice or cereals.
