Spelt bran is the surface layer of spelt grain which is produced as a byproduct of milling. Bran is less known than flakes, but equally, if not more nutritious. Whole grain spelt bran stands out for its high fibre and protein content.
They can be used in the preparation of various dishes. Use them in the preparation of pancakes, buns, as an addition to salads and other cereals. You can also sprinkle wheat bran on smoothies, yogurt and hot cereals.
Store in a dry and dark place.
