Tapioca starch, also known as tapioca flour is a product obtained from crushed and dried pulp of cassava root. One of the most versatile starches available. Flavourless and colourless food thickener which will not alter any flavour nor make lumps in the process of cooking. Great in both savoury and sweet dishes.
Baked goods made with tapioca starch will have beautifully crunchy crust. Best in combination with other gluten free flours. Great source of vitamins and minerals, healthy and easily digestible, naturally gluten free ingredient.
Use in gluten free baking recipes, including breads. As a food thickener in stews, sauces and desserts, especially puddings.
